2. Use of Information Data is used solely to conduct investigations, provide reports, and communicate with the client. We operate in strict accordance with the Maryland Private Detective Act.
3. Confidentiality & Disclosure We do not sell, trade, or share your data with outside marketers. Information is only disclosed:
When required by a valid court order or subpoena.
To third-party experts necessary for the case (e.g., forensic labs), with client awareness.
With your explicit written consent.
4. Data Security We maintain secure digital and physical files to ensure that all case evidence and client identities remain confidential.
PART 2: TERMS & CONDITIONS
By using the Beltway Investigations website or engaging our services, you agree to the following:
1. Licensing & Maryland Law Beltway Investigations is a licensed investigative agency in the State of Maryland. All services are performed in compliance with Title 13 of the Business Occupations and Professions Article of the Maryland Code.
2. Lawful Investigative Purpose We only accept cases for lawful, legitimate purposes. We do not provide services for the purpose of harassment, stalking, or any activity that violates Maryland law or active protective orders.
3. Retainers and Fees A signed retainer agreement and initial payment are required before work commences. Fees are based on professional time and expenses and are not contingent upon a specific case outcome.
4. No Guarantee of Results While we use all available professional resources, the nature of surveillance and investigation means we cannot guarantee a specific finding or result.
5. Limitation of Liability Beltway Investigations is not responsible for the client’s use of information once a report has been delivered.
6. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Exclusive jurisdiction for any legal matters shall be in the courts of Baltimore, MD.
